Yearly Settings in ERPNext

IntermediateAt the start of the company’s fiscal year, you need to set the items below.
- Fiscal year : Our company's fiscal year begins on April 1 and ends on March 31 of the following year. To set this Fiscal Year as Default, click on 'Set as Default'

- Holiday List: We need to set the holiday list for each year to use in conjunction with the leave period and leave allocation for the company. We recommend that you use the same period as the fiscal year.
- Setting company Holiday list : After creating the holiday list, we need to set the holidays for the company in the 'Holiday List' field.
- Leave Period : The leave period should be the same as the company’s fiscal year.
- Holiday List in Leave Period: We need to map the holiday list into the leave period as well to ensure that the system does not count the days in the holiday list as leave days. For example, if Mr. A takes leave from October 21 to October 25 (5 days), but October 23 is a national holiday specified in the holiday list, the system will count Mr. A’s leave as 4 days."
- Employee Holiday List: Don’t forget to update the holiday list for employees in the 'Holiday List' field. You can use bulk update to update the 'Holiday List' for all employees at once.
